Kiniya Alumnae & Families! Mark Your Calendars for August 24-26, 2018!
We invite you to return to retrace your footsteps for a wonderful weekend celebration of Kiniya’s past, present and future!
All former campers, staff and families are invited. Whether you were a camper under Miss V.B, Harry Brown, Jack & Mimi Williams, or Marnie McDonagh we are all part of the same Camp Community and we welcome you all!
Those cherished ties of friendship & fellowship have connected us all throughout the years – regardless of our age. We have precious shared memories of campouts at the Moscow Property, hikes to Mt. Mansfield, icy dips in the lake, camp songs in the dining hall, Kiwi Celebrations, Awards Ceremonies, Campfires, and many other camp traditions that still occur today.
We have experienced and shared in the Kiniya Spirit (and that spirit is ALIVE and going strong). This will be an opportunity to share your story and to express gratitude for the place and people who have made Camp such a powerful influence in so many lives.
Please join us for a weekend of celebration and friendship!
Registration Required by June 1st
There is no cost associated with this weekend! Registration for the full weekend is inclusive of all meals, activities and events.
If you would like to stay on-campus, our camper cabins are available for the weekend and will be shared, dormitory style. Please bring linens for your stay. Alternative suggested accommodations near camp are listed here.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for all attendees. ANYONE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
Schedule of Events
Alums arrive throughout the afternoon. There will be a staffed check in tent at Kiniya’s Main entrance from 2pm – 6pm. If you are staying on campus and plan to arrive before or after this time, please email Marnie@campdudley.org.
6 – 7pm: Cookout Dinner on the back of Coleman Dining Hall overlooking the lake.
7:30pm: Open Mic Talent Show on the stage of the new lodge. Sign up for a spot on the porch of Mimi’s Lodge anytime before kick off. Start practicing now 😉
8:30pm: Beach Campfire at the bottom of the Dining path.
7:00 am: HIIT Workout on the tennis courts for those interested.
8:00 – 9:00 am: Buffet Brekkie
9:00 am: Optional Day Hike (sign ups required) to Moscow Property departs (back by 3pm)
9:00 am: Campus Tour #1 provided by summer 2018 staff. Departs from Coleman.
9:30 am – 12:00 Noon: CHOICE TIME! Archives on display in Craft Shop, Lodge & Studio. Memory recordings on the back porch of Coleman, Climbing Tower, Tennis, Basketball, Treiber, Archery, Paddling, Music at Mimi’s Lodge.
12 Noon: All Camp Game run by 2018 Staff
12:45 pm: Picnic Lunch ‘Neath the Pines
1:30pm: Campus Tour #2 provided by summer 2018 staff. Departs from Coleman.
1:30 – 2:30 pm: Rest Hour
2:30 – 5:00 pm: CHOICE TIME! Archives on display in Craft Shop, Lodge & Studio. Memory recordings on the back porch of Coleman, Climbing Tower, Tennis, Basketball, Treiber, Paddling, Music at Mimi’s Lodge, Waterskiing for intermediate/advanced skiiers (sign ups required) .
5:30 pm: Memory Garden Dedication
6:00 pm: HAPPY HOUR Served in the back porch of Coleman
6:30 pm: 100th Celebration Dinner – Coleman Dining Hall followed by Kiwi Candle Launch.
8:00 pm: HYMN SING at Mimi’s Lodge and campfire to follow.
8:00 am: Coffee & pastries at Coleman
9:00 am: Chapel at the vespers Stage
9:30 am: Roll out Brunch
10:30 am: Farewells
